미 연합감리교회총감독회사무총장 Gregory V. Palmer
감독님은 연합감리교회 유지재단 100주년 축하행사를 위해
방한하셨다. 행사 다음 날인 2025년 7월 1일 오전 9시 30분
에 우리 교회에 방문하여 역사기념관과 벧엘예배당을 둘러
보시고 기도하여 주셨다.

Gregory V. Palmer 감독 기도문
God we give you thanks for the Saints who have gone before us like the Appenzellers who
spread the Gospel beyond their own home boundaries, who became one with the people
in Korea who established this church, out of which so many other churches have grown
for faith like theirs gracious God, We plead that you would make us as courageous and as
hopeful about the spreading of your Gospel.
Continue, oh God, to look upon the Chungdong Church with thy tender, loving mercies
and thy gracious favorthat they might continue to be a light, that they might be salt, that
they might be leather and infiltrate and spread your love not only through the Methodist
church here, but among all of the churches and among all of the people who yearned for
a deepened relationship with you through Jesus Christ.

Bless the pastors, the lay leadership, the elders, the constituents who come in week after
week to sing your praises, to study the word, to pray, to hear the word proclaimed.

Bless those who lead in singing, the musicians and the choir members that when they
open their mouths and when they touch the instruments, the love of the Gospel would be
known through the music and the melody they make.
Now bless us and make us a blessing to one another. We pray in the name of Jesus, Amen.

아버지 하나님, 자신의 고향을 넘어 복음을 전파 목사님들, 평신도 지도자들, 장로들, 매주 와서 찬
한 아펜젤러 선교사님과 이 교회를 세우고 이땅의 양하며 말씀을 묵상하고 기도하며 말씀을 듣는
수많은 교회로 성장하게 하신 우리보다 먼저 가신 성도들을 축복하여 주옵소서.
성도들을 허락하신 아버지께 감사드리며 그들의
믿음처럼 우리도 복음을 전하는 일에 용기와 희망 찬양 인도자들과 찬양대원, 그리고 연주로 섬기는
을 갖게 하소서. 모든 이들을 축복하사, 그들이 입을 열거나 악기
오, 하나님, 계속해서 아버지의 자비와 사랑으로 를 만질 때 복음의 사랑이 음악과 멜로디를 통해
정동교회를 바라보아 주시고, 그들이 빛과 소금이 드러나게 하소서.
되게 하시며, 사랑을 전파하는 도구가 되게 하소
서. 이곳 감리교회뿐만 아니라 모든 교회와 주님 이제 우리 모두를 축복하시어, 서로에게 축복의
과의 깊은 교제를 소원하는 이들 가운데도 사랑 통로가 되게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립
을 넓혀 주소서. 니다. 아멘.
