Gracious God, 은혜로우신 주님.
We worship and praise you for the blessings in our lives 우리의 삶 가운데서 축복을 내려주시니 찬양과
you have granted us. 경배를 드립니다.
We are truly grateful that we can trust you when the world 우리를 둘러싼 세계가 우리를 실망시킬지라도
around us fail us. while we consider all that we are grateful 당신을 믿을 수 있게 됨을 진심으로 감사드립니다.
for, our hearts also ache with all the suffering, desperation, 우리가 감사를 드리고 있는 동안에도 세상에서의 고통과
fear and loss in our world. 절박함, 두려움 그리고 상실 때문에 마음이 아픕니다.
In this political turmoil here on the Korean peninsula, let 오늘날 한반도에서의 정치적인 혼란 속에서도 주님의 강력
your spirit of powerful peace overwhelm is today. 한 평화의 영성이 넘치게 하소서.
We pray for the poor, those who are sick, those who are 가난한 사람들을 위해 기도합니다. 그리고 아프고, 상처받

Water, wine and us 물과 와인, 그리고 우리

For a Jewish feast wine was essential. “Without wine,” said 유태인 축제에서 와인은 꼭 필요하다. 랍비는

brings to him—there was no more wine. What a crisis! 더 이상 와인이 없었다. 이런 엄청난 위기라니!
Unexpected, uninvited, and without warning, the wine was 갑자기 기대치 않고 예고 없이 와인이 바닥이 났다니! 이런 중
up! Maybe you’re going through a crisis 요한 때에 전혀 예기치 않게 위기가 우리에게 닥친 것이다. 여
But, in our reading of the story, we’re so mesmerized by 러분은 이런 위기를 겪을지도 모른다. 그러나 이 이야기를 자

Indeed He did the impossible. He turned water into wine. 바꿀 수 있다!
If Christ was raised from the dead, what is it to God to turn 실제로 그분은 불가능한 일을 해냈다. 그분은 물을 와인으로
water into wine? But, that’s not the point. The point is this: 바꾼 것이다. 그리스도가 죽음에서 부활하셨다면 물이 와인으
God specializes in empty things – empty jars, empty lives. 로 바뀐 것이 하나님에게 어떤 의미겠는가? 그러나 그것이 요
